BYD unveiled five new energy models at the Jamaica auto show and plans to open more than 10 stores in the Caribbean

CTOnews.com, Nov. 24, REVOLUTION 2023 Motor Show was held at St. Andrews National Stadium in Jamaica. BYD unveiled five new energy models: BYD Han, Tang, Yuan PLUS, Dolphin and E6.

CTOnews.com noted that BYD plans to open more than 10 stores in the Caribbean in the future, covering Cayman, Cura ç ao, Barbados, Aruba, Antigua, Saint Lucia, Guyana and Suriname, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

It is worth mentioning that BYD partnered with ATL Automotive in June to promote the electrification of transport in the Caribbean. BYD's partnership with ATL includes the establishment of a BYD showroom.

In the initial phase, two showrooms will be opened in Jamaica, particularly in Kingston and Montego Bay. Among them, the Kingston exhibition hall, as an "experience center", will showcase BYD's upcoming models and technologies.

As of October 2023, BYD's cumulative sales of new energy vehicles have exceeded 5.7 million, covering more than 70 countries and regions on six continents.
