Wang Peng, first-class inspector of the Information and Communications Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that at present, the number of "5G + Industrial Internet" projects nationwide has exceeded 8000, and 5G has been supported by peripheral auxiliary links such as production site monitoring and intelligent logistics in the factory area. it goes deep into the core control links such as remote equipment control and equipment cooperative operation. Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has organized various localities to actively recommend excellent projects, and the "2023 5G Factory Catalog" has been formed through evaluation and social publicity.
According to Wang Peng, from the perspective of industry distribution, the 5G factories included in the 2023 5G factories list have widely covered 24 major categories of the national economy. From the perspective of geographical distribution, the 5G factories in the list are distributed in 26 provinces, autonomous regions and cities in China. Among them, the number of 5G factories in Jiangsu, Shandong, Hubei, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, Hunan and Guangdong ranks among the top 10 in the country. In terms of the types of enterprises, the directory includes all kinds of market entities, such as central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises, joint ventures, and so on, of which large enterprises account for 52.7% and small and medium-sized enterprises account for 47.3%. A good situation has been formed for large, small and medium-sized enterprises to work together. From the perspective of scene practice, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has previously released 20 typical scenarios of "5G + Industrial Internet" and set up a number of "model rooms". Among the 300 5G factories in the list, the practice of 20 typical application scenarios is more than 50%. It forms the demonstration and promotion effect of "commercial housing". From the perspective of development effectiveness, according to the industrial Internet Industry Alliance, according to the data submitted by enterprises in the list, 300 5G factories will drive a total investment of nearly 10 billion yuan, which will play an obvious role in promoting the improvement of quality, cost, efficiency, green and safety development of enterprises.
According to the statistics of the Industrial Internet Industry Alliance through the "5G Factory seed Project", as of September this year, there were more than 1800 5G factory projects across the country, involving 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities). It has covered 10 key "5G + industrial Internet" industries, such as equipment manufacturing, electronic equipment manufacturing, petrochemical industry, ports, as well as other industries such as non-ferrous metals and materials.
