CTOnews.com, Nov. 25 (Xinhua)-- International brand consultancy Interbrand recently released a list of the world's best brands in 2023, with Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Samsung, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Coca-Cola, Nike and BMW in the top 10.

Interbrand said in its official press release that the list revealed that many of the world's top 100 brands were "stagnant" and that the overall brand value of the list began to slow sharply after a sharp increase in brand value last year. Compared with last year's 16% growth, this year's increase is 5.7%, with a total brand value of $3.3 trillion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 23.59 trillion yuan).

Gonzalo Bruho, global CEO of Interbrand, said that after several years of strong growth, brands had entered a period of stagnation, with this year's list showing a "moderate increase" in overall brand value.

The agency also believes that the reasons for the slowdown in brand growth include a lack of growth thinking, weak leadership and poor forecasting.

It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi and Huawei re-entered the list this year, ranking 87th and 92nd respectively, down from 2022: Xiaomi ranked 84th and Huawei 86th last year.
