SAIC Port Base plans to take off nearly 22000 vehicles in November, and will speed up the introduction of new energy projects.

In 2022, the output value of intelligent new energy vehicles in the new area of Hong Kong reached 263.4 billion yuan, becoming the first industry in the new area with an output value of more than 200 billion.

According to thepaper.cn, Chen Peifeng, secretary of the party committee of SAIC Lingang passenger car base and director of the Lingang complete vehicle factory, said, "since the end of last month, the Lingang base has started two shifts of production, increasing from nearly 500 vehicles a day to nearly 900 vehicles."

He pointed out that the SAIC port base is making the final sprint for the annual production, and it is expected that the number of off-line vehicles will reach nearly 22000 in November. In addition, according to the current plan, the port base will speed up the introduction of new energy projects.

CTOnews.com inquiry found that SAIC sold a total of 491400 vehicles in October, including 103978 new energy vehicles, an increase of 2.17% over the same period last year, and monthly sales of new energy and overseas markets both exceeded 100, 000.
