Google's "At a Glance" widget now "disappears and crashes" Bug: unlimited version of multiple Android phones
CTOnews.com, November 27 (Xinhua)-- Google launched the "At a Glance" feature in the Pixel 7 era, which is similar to Apple's iOS's "real-time activity" and widget "smart stack" function. It can quickly display a series of real-time notifications on the desktop of Pixel phones, such as takeout information, ride-hailing distance, express package tracking, alarm clock countdown, real-time weather warning, boarding pass and so on.
▲ Android 14 QPR2's "At a Glance" widget, while according to foreign media AndroidCentral, several users have reported that the widget has encountered failures on their devices, frequently disappearing, crashing and other problems; if users try to add new "At a Glance" widgets, there will occasionally be an error message that says "Glance App Widget Error".
It is reported that the failure affects all kinds of Android phones, including Google Pixel, Samsung's Galaxy S23, OnePlus and other devices. Errors will pop up on all devices from Android 12 to Android 14, so it should be Google's server-side error, but Google has not responded to the news as of CTOnews.com.
