The order, valued at S $108.1 million (CTOnews.com Note: about 575.1 million yuan), will be the largest order for electric buses in Singapore to date.

According to the picture, the future pure electric bus to be driven on the streets of Singapore is B12A03, a 12-meter low-floor three-door bus and the first BYD pure electric bus equipped with blade batteries. According to Singapore's Land Traffic Bureau, the new cars will be equipped with bus information display systems, as well as intelligent devices such as anti-fatigue systems, anti-collision warnings and tire pressure monitoring systems.

According to the report, the country purchased a total of 360 three-door electric buses and set up charging systems in three bus factories, and the new cars will be on the road to carry passengers from December next year.

This is the first time that the Singapore government has purchased buses and charging equipment on a large scale. In addition to BYD's 240new cars, another 120 were won by China Zhongtong bus in partnership with Cycle&Carriage, a local car dealer. The Singapore government aims to electrify half of all public buses by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
