Priced at $3990, Varjo launches enterprise headset XR-4: two 3840 & # 215; 3744 screens
CTOnews.com, Nov. 28 (Xinhua)-- Finnish startup Varjo today announced the launch of XR-4 enterprise hybrid reality Touxian, priced at $3990 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 28568 yuan).
The basic XR-4 hybrid costs $3990, which is more user-friendly than the previous generation ($5495, with an annual rent of $1495).
The XR-4 hybrid reality head display is equipped with two screens with a resolution of 3840 × 3744 pixels, a pixel density of 51 PPD (dots per inch) and a viewing angle of 120 °× 10 ~ 5 °.
The screen refresh rate specifies 90Hz, with a maximum brightness of 200 cd / m 2, as well as 98% sRGB color space coverage and 96% DCI-P3 color space coverage.
The XR-4 mixed reality head display is equipped with two 2000-megapixel cameras that provide an end-to-end mixed reality experience that can be displayed in 33 pixels per inch.
Varjo XR-4 also has ambient light sensors and advanced lidar, which can be used to estimate the distance to objects and their surfaces using three-dimensional laser scanning, not only for virtual reality, but also for augmented reality by superimposing virtual objects on objects in the real world.
