China Eastern Airlines officially received the world's first C919 aircraft with No. B-919A on December 9,2022, and started its first commercial passenger flight on May 28, taking the key "first step" of market operation. On July 16 this year, China Eastern Airlines officially received the second domestic C919 large passenger aircraft.

According to the data, C919 large passenger aircraft is the first jet trunk passenger aircraft with independent intellectual property rights developed by China according to international prevailing airworthiness standards. It was established in 2007 and first flew in 2017, with 158-192 seats and a range of 4075- 555km.

The 100 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered to the company in batches from 2024 to 2031.

China Eastern said the catalog price of the 100 C919 aircraft purchased this time totaled about US $9.9 billion (open market quotation, 2023 catalog price). COMAC gave the company a large price discount, so the actual price of this batch of aircraft was significantly lower than the above catalogue price.

This is the largest single order for the C919, and China Eastern Airlines has become the world's largest user of the C919 large passenger aircraft. According to the plan, the C919 aircraft purchased this time will be delivered in batches from 2024 to 2031. Among them, 5 are planned to be delivered in 2024, 10 are planned to be delivered each year from 2025 to 2027, 15 are planned to be delivered each year from 2028 to 2030, and 20 are planned to be delivered in 2031.
