The national version of Sony PlayStation Portal serial handset is on its way, and the Chinese official website has been launched.
CTOnews.com December 4, Sony announced in August this year its streaming handset PlayStation Portal Portal Remote Play, which is now on the market, priced at $199.99, 219.99 euros, 199.99 pounds and 29980 yen (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1457 yuan).
Existing players have found that the PlayStation Chinese official website page has now updated the relevant content of the serial handset, including user guides, troubleshooting and system software, which some players think means that the national version is not far away and may be released as soon as 2024.
This device can be streamed with PS5, so it is called "remote player" and belongs to the dedicated streaming device of PS5. It features an 8-inch LCD screen that provides 1080p resolution at 60 fps, and the handle supports adaptive trigger and tactile feedback.
According to reports, PlayStation Portal can play "supported games" installed on PS5 hosts.
It is equipped with a dedicated Dualsense controller and includes a 3.5mm headphone hole for wired audio. It does not support PS VR2 games that require head display and games transmitted through PlayStation Plus Premium cloud streams.
