CTOnews.com, December 6 (Xinhua)-- Ford and Lincoln sold 145559 vehicles in the United States in November (down 0.5 percent from a year earlier), while year-to-date sales have remained positive at more than 1.8 million vehicles (up 7 percent from a year earlier).

Of this total, sales of electric models were 8958, up 43.2 per cent from the same period last year, while hybrid models were 12108, up 75.2 per cent from the same period last year. From January to November, the company sold 1803569 vehicles in the US, up 7.0 per cent from a year earlier.

It also brings Ford's new energy vehicle penetration to a record 6.4 per cent (higher than the US industry average estimate of 3-4 per cent, excluding Tesla).

Ford: 139318 (down 1 per cent) and 1731013 (up 8 per cent)

Lincoln: 6241 (up 2 per cent) and 72556 (down 5 per cent)

Total sales: 145559 (down 0.5 per cent) and 1803569 (up 7 per cent)

In addition, Ford's sales of the Fmur150 Lightning hit a record high of 4393 in November, more than doubling from a year earlier. Ford's Mustang Mach-E rose 21% year-on-year to 4294, while Ford's E-Transit fell 59% to 271.

Ford Mustang Mach-E:4294 (up 21%)

Ford Fmuri 150 Lightning:4393 (up 113%)

Ford E-Transit:271 (down 59%)

Total: 8958 vehicles (up 43%), accounting for 6.4%
