CTOnews.com, December 11 (Xinhua)-- Volvo and Starbucks have announced that they have implemented plans to deploy charging posts, and some US stores of Starbucks have opened a fast charging network for public electric vehicles.

On the 1350-mile route between the Denver area and Seattle (CTOnews.com Note: about 2172.61 kilometers), 15 Starbucks stores have 50 DC fast charging posts. The chargers are placed an average of one per 160.93 miles, adding 110 miles (177.03 kilometers) to the 2024 model and the newer Volvo XC40 and C40 Recharge models in just 15 minutes.

Owners of all-electric Volvo cars embedded in Google can use the ChargePoint app to find and access charging posts in participating Starbucks stores, while other models with CCS1 or CHAdeMO standards can use the ChargePoint phone App.
