CTOnews.com, December 13, Apple today released new beta firmware updates for AirPods Pro, AirPods 2, AirPods 3 and AirPods Max. The version of this update is 6A307, which is higher than the 6A300 firmware version released in September. Currently, this update is limited to developers.

Apple does not usually specify which features are included in the new firmware, so it is not clear what new features will be brought about by the update.

Apple does not provide instructions on how to upgrade AirPods software updates, but usually the firmware is installed wirelessly, that is, when the AirPods is connected to the iOS device. Force the update by placing the AirPods in the charging box, connecting the power, and pairing the AirPods with the iOS device or Mac.

You can check the firmware version of your AirPods or AirPods Pro by following these steps:

Connect the AirPods Pro to the iOS device

Open the Settings application

Click "General"

Click "about"

Click "AirPods"

Check the number next to firmware version

CTOnews.com will update this article when it learns more about this firmware update.
