Apple "overweight" made in India, and it is reported that supply chains such as Foxconn have invested more in related factories.

CTOnews.com, Dec. 13 (Xinhua)-- Apple is "overweight" made in India and plans to increase its iPhone production of "made in India" fivefold within five years, according to Bloomberg.

Foxconn Technology Group, which is part of Apple's supply chain, has invested at least $1 billion in one of its Indian plants, Bloomberg said. Foxconn is expected to allocate about $2.7 billion (currently about 19.386 billion yuan) to the Indian plant to strengthen India's assembly chain and expand iPhone capacity.
