Traces of Marvel Spider-Man 3 games found in leaked documents by Insomniac

CTOnews.com December 14 news, Sony's game studio Insomniac Games recently suffered a cyber attack, a large number of sensitive information leaked. The hacker group Rhysida claimed responsibility for the attack and demanded nearly $2 million worth of bitcoin to pay a ransom within a week.

To prove its success, Rhysida shared a picture showing the stolen data.

This picture includes screenshots of unreleased Marvel Wolverine games, internal emails, and even employee passports.

Users also found the word "SM3" in this picture, which is presumed to be a "Spider-Man 3" game. CTOnews.com attached a screenshot as follows:

It is not clear whether Insomniac Games has started development or is still planning the Marvel Spider-Man 3 game, but given the positive reviews of the Marvel Spider-Man 2 game, the development of a sequel will not come as a surprise.
