Google: Google Play UnionPay is supported in Hong Kong and Macao, and Alipay HK is available in Hong Kong

CTOnews.com, December 14, official account, Google's "Android developer" today took stock of "simplified Chinese market situation", mentioning that "Google Play Store has supported the provision of popular game recommendation plates for simplified Chinese games", "Hong Kong, Macao and Southeast Asian markets now support UnionPay, and Hong Kong market now supports Alipay HK".

Official account cited 37Games's eschatological survival three-elimination game "apocalyptic hustle", claiming that the game had added simplified Chinese language support since its launch, and it is now conservatively estimated that there are more than 500000 simplified Chinese players in overseas markets, with "very good data performance".

Officials also introduced a MMORPG called "Blade&Soul Revolution", claiming that simplified Chinese players brought "good profit opportunities" to the game, and concluded that "games that were first launched overseas and supported simplified Chinese in the first place tend to have better returns."

According to an earlier report by CTOnews.com, in July this year, several CTOnews.com netizens submitted feedback that the Google Play store in Hong Kong could add mainland UnionPay cards to the "payment method", including debit cards such as Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Construction Bank, China Merchants Bank and so on.
