Microsoft is about to eliminate the old version of Teams infrastructure. Users need to update in time to avoid message delay.
CTOnews.com, December 17-Microsoft will end support for the old Teams messaging infrastructure at the end of March 2024, when users using older Teams clients that have not been updated for more than three months may experience message delays in personal chats, group chats, and channels.
Microsoft stressed that in order to avoid service disruptions and other problems, please update to the latest version of Teams in a timely manner. This upgrade will affect Microsoft Teams desktop, iOS and Android mobile, and virtual desktop interface (VDI) customers, but will not affect the operation of mobile phones, panels, conference rooms, Surface Hub or web-based Teams.
CTOnews.com notes that in addition to issuing notifications, Microsoft also provides instructions to update Teams to the latest version, and IT administrators can pass this information to their customers to make sure they are running the latest version.
