Lan Qi Technology released the fifth generation Jinnao CPU: supports up to 48 cores and 96 threads
Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen OC_Formula for clue delivery! CTOnews.com December 18 news, Lanqi Technology released a new fifth-generation Tianjin CPU, based on Intel fifth-generation Xeon Scalable Processor Core (code name: Emerald Rapids), is an x86 architecture server processor for the local market.
CTOnews.com learned from Lanqi Technology that a single CPU supports up to 48 cores, 96 threads, and a maximum L3 cache capacity of 260MB; supports DDR5 memory speeds up to 5600MT/s, and UPI speeds between CPUs up to 20GT/s; based on LINPACK tests, its comprehensive floating point computing performance is up to 40%(compared to the fourth generation).
The fifth generation CPU has a built-in AI acceleration engine, lower standby power consumption and higher energy efficiency ratio, which can effectively reduce the TCO of the data center.
At present, a number of server manufacturers have cooperated with Lanqi Technology, and models equipped with partners of the fifth generation of Tianjin CPU have been listed for six times.
