According to previous revelations, RTX 4090D belongs to China's special version of graphics card, equipped with AD102-250 GPU core, designed to replace RTX 4090 facing export risk.

In terms of parameters, the RTX4090D reference frequency will be increased from 2235MHz of the RTX4090 to 2280MHz, while the acceleration frequency will remain at 2520MHz, while the TGP power consumption will be reduced from 450W to 425W.

MEGAsizeGPU sources say that RTX 4090D will use AD102-250 GPU. The original RTX 4090 uses an AD102-300/301GPU. The RTX 4090D will have a reduced number of CUDA, a slightly higher base frequency than the original RTX 4090, and the same Boost frequency as the original RTX 4090.

RTX 4090D is expected to use 24GB GDDR6X memory, the number of CUDA cores is expected to be slightly less than the original 16384, and the computing power will not exceed 4800 TOPS. In terms of price, the RTX 4090D may be the same as the original RTX 4090 at 12999 yuan.

NVIDIA initially released the RTX 4090 flagship graphics card in September 2022. The RTX 4090 features 76 billion transistors, 16384 CUDA cores and 24 GB of high-speed Micron GDDR6X memory. Nvidia claims that in full ray tracing games, the RTX 4090 with DLSS 3 offers up to a four-fold performance improvement over the previous generation RTX 3090 Ti with DLSS 2. In modern gaming, the RTX 4090 delivers up to a 2x performance boost.
