Sources say Apple's next-generation iPad Pro supports MagSafe wireless charging

CTOnews.com, December 19, according to foreign technology media MacRumors reports, Apple's new iPad Pro launched next year will add MagSafe charging support.

The report said the news came from the supply chain company that makes magnets for Apple and has not yet been confirmed.

Mark Mark Gurman of Bloomberg revealed as early as 2021 that Apple was considering equipping its 2022 iPad Pro product line with a glass back cover for wireless charging, with particular emphasis on testing the MagSafe system for the iPad Pro.

Unfortunately, Apple's 2022 iPad Pro doesn't have wireless charging, glass back covers or significant design changes.

CTOnews.com has previously reported that Apple is expected to launch an 11.1-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro with an OLED screen next year, with a new design and expected to bring MagSafe charging support.

According to the view of the industry, it is impossible for the whole back of iPad Pro to be made of glass, which will increase the weight of the product on the one hand and reduce the durability of the product on the other, so it is speculated in the industry that a round hole will be dug in the middle and glass will be used for wireless charging of MagSafe.
