Armor releases 2TB high-capacity microSDXC card with 90 MB/s write speed

CTOnews.com, December 20, KIOXIA today officially released the Exceria Plus G2 microSDXC 2 TB model. The armor originally unveiled the industry's first 2 TB microSDXC memory card prototype card in 2022, and now the card will be available soon.

According to reports, this microSDXC is currently the highest storage density. In order to achieve this goal, the armor uses a new type of NAND flash memory, which encapsulates a Z height of only 0.8mm. The card meets UHS level 3, application level A1, and video V30 certification with a maximum sequential read speed of 100 MB/s and a maximum write speed of 90 MB/s.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, SanDisk launched a 1.5TB MicroSD memory card in October with a read speed of 150MB/s, which is currently priced at 999 yuan.

The Chinese Taiwan brand Achille recently launched the world's first 2TB MicroSD card, model Supreme Pro TF138, with sequential reading speed 170MB/s, sequential writing speed 160MB/s, random reading speed 4000 IOPS, random writing speed 2000 IOPS, and the price is 6999 New Taiwan dollars (currently about 1596 yuan).
