Samsung launches 49-inch ViewFinity S9 S95UC with fish screen display: 32Ru 9.149 million won
CTOnews.com December 21 news, Samsung recently launched ViewFinity S9 series of new 49-inch display S95UC in the Korean market, model LS49C954U, priced at 1.49 million won (CTOnews.com Note: Currently about 8180 yuan).
The new S95UC is currently only available in South Korea, and it is unclear whether it will be launched domestically.
ViewFinity S9 S95UC features a VA panel with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, an aspect ratio of 32:9 and a curvature of 1000R.
The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a grayscale response time of 4 ms. The company claims its maximum brightness is 350 nits. The monitor not only supports HDR, but also has VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. According to the brand, it covers 115% of the sRGB color space and 92% of the DCI-P3 color space.
In terms of ports, the 49-inch S95UC offers two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, three USB Type-A 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port (providing 90W power output via USB PD protocol), one 3.5 mm audio jack, and one Ethernet port.
Two 5W speakers onboard in stereo configuration. The monitor has a 100×100 VESA mount and is equipped with a stand that provides height, tilt, and rotation adjustments.
