Who says you have to buy an expensive new laptop or desktop to enjoy Microsoft's recently launched Windows10 operating system? There are other more affordable solutions available to users to meet their basic computing needs. One of the devices is the Asustek VivoStick, a gadget on a computer launched on IFA2015 that offers a Windows10 experience for as little as $129.
Asustek's new device is not the first computer to stick to Intel's new technology, but Asustek makes it look better than previous designs.
Don't expect VivoStick to turn your existing TV or monitor into a powerful computer. However, the device still allows you to have a running computer in the living room, which will help you browse the web and play music and videos without a more powerful machine.
The Vivo Stick is packaged with Cherry Trail chip, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, HDMI connection, two USB3.0 ports, headphone Jack and 802.11n Wi-Fi. The device can be paired with a keyboard and mouse via Bluetooth 4.0 and must be purchased separately. A special Asustek app allows you to control your Vivo phone from your smartphone. This gadget weighs only 137.9x34.0x14.9mm and weighs 68 grams.
Although Asustek has released details of the pricing of the VivoStick, the actual listing date has yet to be confirmed.
