Edge browser on iOS gets major version update to support reading e-books
Edge for iOS has received a major update today to support reading ebooks purchased from the Microsoft Store, making it one of the most anticipated features users have had since it launched in October 2017. Unfortunately, features such as bookmarks, comments and highlights are not currently supported, but I believe Microsoft will follow up with support in the future.
The latest version number is 42.1.0, and the update log is as follows
* Support education or enterprise account login
- Favorites and password synchronization coming soon
* On iPad, hold down Command to see available shortcuts
* Improve Hub Design
* Support reading e-books
- Support for purchasing eBooks from Microsoft Store
- Bookmarks, comments and highlights are not currently supported
* Performance improvements
