HomePod's new firmware implies that Apple Watch will support ski training
The early firmware of Apple's HomePod smart speaker has hinted that Apple Watch's Workout app will add support for ski training, and it is expected to arrive with watchOS4 this fall. The sharp-eyed Confide developer (Jeffrey Grossman) sees a project called "SkiingWorkoutEventCollector" (ski exercise event collector) in some part of the firmware, as well as "SkiData" (ski data), "WorkoutActivityType" (type of movement), "SlopeForAngle" (inclination), "DownhillSnowSportsDistance" (gliding distance), and so on.
The code in HomePod may suggest that Apple is planning to add more unannounced sports.
watchos 4 will include at least one new Workout exercise type, as well as support for high-intensity interval training (HIIT / such as running at top speed in a short period of time). The current Apple Watch lacks a built-in strength training mode, forcing users to create an "other" option.

In addition, a large number of rumors related to iPhone 8 were exposed and confirmed in the HonePod firmware over the weekend, such as "light touch awakening" (tap to wake) and "status bar separation", but the most attractive features are rimless design and facial recognition.
the machine is expected to be equipped with a 2436 × 1125 resolution screen, but it is unlikely to embed a Touch ID fingerprint sensor under the screen.
