In addition to desktop, Microsoft continues to push updates for the mobile version of Microsoft Edge-even though the current Edge for Windows 10 is being redesigned to migrate to the Chromium engine. Recently, the company released version 42.11.4 Edge for iOS update, bringing instant translation within the browser to iPhone users. If you want instant non-native web translation on your iPhone, try Edge for iOS version 42.11.4. Of course, users of Chrome for Android have long used this feature.

Edge for iOS instant web translation is enabled through Microsoft's own Bing translation backend. To enable this feature, go to Settings-> Translation Settings-> Bing Translate.

Once set up, Edge for iOS users will be able to load websites in other languages and see a prompt asking whether to translate the current page into xx languages (such as English).

Microsoft claims that Edge for iOS 42.11.4 also brings other bug fixes and performance improvements, but it doesn't disclose more details.
