Apple pushes iOS 12.3 developer beta 3 to update background clear animation return
In the early hours of this morning, Apple pushed the iOS 12.3 developer beta 3 update to developers. After this update, the BOC version of the background clearance animation came back, which obviously has a lot to do with Apple's previous agreement with Qualcomm.
The developer version is 384.3MB. Although only regular Bug fixes and minor improvements are mentioned in the update log, domestic users found that the background cleaning animation had been changed from zooming to sliding again.
In December, Qualcomm issued a preliminary injunction to the Fuzhou Intermediate people's Court in Fuzhou, requiring Apple to "ban the sale of some iPhone phones in China" because it infringed two Qualcomm software patents, mainly about resizing photos and managing apps on the touch screen. At that time, in addition to the latest iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max products, Apple iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X were all on the prohibited list.
However, Apple then released an update for Bank of China's iPhone products, changing the slide gesture on the background program to zoom. Now, after the "reconciliation of the century" between Apple and Qualcomm, the animation of Apple's original up-slide cleanup program is back.
