As we said, LGG8 ThinQ units across South Korea have begun to receive Android 10. The software version named after the G820N20c code is bringing products to LG's flagship phones and will also provide users with all new features and security patches in November 2019.

Keep in mind that new updates may bring new LG UX 9.0 to G8 owners. Although there is no change log, we are not sure. In case you get into trouble, LG showed the latest user interface the other day, which looks like Samsung's One UI. That's not a bad thing, though, because Samsung's latest interface is one of the best custom Android skins we've seen so far.

It is not clear when LG will release Android 10 and UX 9.0 in other parts of the world. If you live in, you probably shouldn't hold your breath immediately to get updates, but it's sure to show up in the next few weeks.
