CTOnews.com August 22, Elon Musk (Elon Musk) tweeted that he would update the latest developments on the brain-computer interface on Halloween on October 31.

Musk founded artificial intelligence startup Neuralink in 2016 to study brain-computer interfaces. Neuralink has demonstrated its brain implants in pigs and monkeys and has said it is expected to conduct human trials by the end of 2022.

According to the 2021 Neuralink video, the company's brain implant consists of a "ball" containing "secret active electronic devices" and flexible electrodes, which are about 50 microns wide, 5 microns thick and 20 millimeters long. The electrodes attached to the hockey puck are often referred to as "lines" in video, or compared to hair. The electrodes are very fragile.

Recently, people familiar with the matter said that with its brain-computer interface company Neuralink lagging behind in the competition, Elon Musk has approached Synchron, the developer of brain chip implantation, to discuss the possibility of investing in the latter.

CTOnews.com learned that Musk also said that his two main goals this year are "starship into orbit" and "extensive launch of FSD", which will require the joint efforts of many super geniuses.
