Mimeng high-speed railway is located in Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province, starting from Maitreya Station of Nankun High-speed Railway in the north, passing through Maitreya City and Kaiyuan City to the south, and ending in Mengzi City, the capital of Honghe Prefecture.

CTOnews.com learned that the main line of the Mimeng high-speed railway is about 107km long and has a design speed of 250km / h. There are four new stations on the line, namely, Honghe Station, Kaiyuan South Station, Pengpu Station and Zhuyuan Station.

The railway department said that after the Mimeng high-speed railway is opened, it will become a convenient passenger transport channel between the two major urban agglomerations in central and southeastern Yunnan. Mengzi, Kaiyuan and Maitreya will form a half-hour high-speed rail economic circle, and Kunming to Mengzi will be accessible within 2 hours.
