Apple is expected to unveil a new generation of iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8 at its September 8 launch event. Cook reiterated a statement he made several years ago, saying he hoped Apple's biggest contribution would be in health. Regarding Apple's privacy changes to iOS, Cook said: "We firmly believe that privacy is a basic and fundamental human right. Our philosophy is to put the decision to share information in the hands of users. "

Cook also talked about Jobs. When asked what Jobs would think of Apple now, Cook said Jobs would probably want Apple to do better. "I think he'll find something he likes in Apple right now and he'll also say,'We can do better at that.' I think he'll see the good and the bad. Like all of us, we are never really satisfied. We are always preparing for tomorrow. Cook said.
