Officials said that the introduction of the first exposure machine equipment marked the official shift of the expansion project from plant construction to equipment installation and commissioning.

According to reports, TCL Huaxing has a total investment of more than 75 billion yuan in Wuhan. As the first sixth-generation LTPS display panel production line in China, TCL Huaxing T3 production line has the top core equipment in the industry and has basic hardware advantages in high-end product research and development. In 2021, TCL Huaxing invested 15 billion yuan to expand the production of T3 project, which is a G6 LTPS production line planned to further meet the market demand for middle and high-end products.

The production expansion project plans to adopt VR technology, touch screen technology (Touch Panel + active pen technology), Mini LED backlight display technology, LTPO technology, etc., mainly producing small and medium-sized high value-added IT display, vehicle display, VR display panel and other products, and is expected to achieve mass production in the first half of 2023.

After the project is put into production, Wuhan Huaxing Optoelectronics will be the largest LTPS factory in the world, which will form the advantages of scale and agglomeration effect, which is of great strategic significance for China's new display industry to catch up with and surpass the advanced level of the world.
