CTOnews.com, August 27, according to TechPowerUp, BizLink announced that following the launch of DP80 mDP cable in March 2022, the company has now released the world's first VESA certified DP80 enhanced full-size DP cable, which supports 80 Gbps full-blood transmission bandwidth.

According to officials, BizLink's DP80 cable is certified by the latest version of DP technology to provide up to 80 Gbps of maximum big data throughput and compatibility with new data rates per channel in the following specifications: UHBR10 (10 Gbps), UHBR13.5 (13.5 Gbps) and UHBR20 (20 Gbps).

VESA has previously said that full-size DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort cables that support DP40 and DP80 standards have been put into production and that the first displays and other devices have passed certification tests.

DP40 cables will support the UHBR10 standard (10Gbps) on four channels for a total of 40Gbps

The DP80 cable will support the UHBR20 Standard (20Gbps) on four channels, for a total of 80Gbps.

CTOnews.com learned that the new generation of graphics cards will support DP 2.0 interface, Intel's entry-level blue halberd A380 graphics card has been equipped with DP 2.0 interface, but 40Gbps bandwidth.
