NASA announced that the launch window on September 3 will begin at 14:17 eastern time (2:17 Beijing time on September 4) and will last for two hours. " Mike Mike Sarafin, mission manager of Artemis 1, said at a news conference on Tuesday that the launch team would change the procedure for filling the rocket with propellant and would start trying to cool the engine to the optimal temperature earlier in the countdown.

However, Mark Burger, a weather launch officer for the US space force, said the weather remained a concern about whether NASA could try to launch on Saturday.
