China's Rainbow-4 UAV signs a contract for an international trade project

CTOnews.com, September 1, according to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, on August 31, Aerospace long March International Trading Co., Ltd. and Aerospace Rainbow UAV Co., Ltd., affiliated to the 11th Academy of Sciences, held a contract signing ceremony for an international trade project of the Rainbow-4 UAV in Beijing.

Rainbow is a series of unmanned aerial vehicles developed by the China Aerospace and Aeronautical Power Technology Research Institute under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The Chinese Academy of Aerospace aerodynamic Technology is also known as the 11th Academy of Sciences. Rainbow-4 UAV is a medium-range reconnaissance / reconnaissance (civilian version) integrated UAV developed on the basis of Rainbow-3 UAV.

CTOnews.com previously reported that on August 17, China Aerospace Science and Technology Group announced the successful maiden flight of the upgraded version of the Rainbow-4 UAV, which was replaced with an aviation heavy fuel engine with fully independent property rights. It is technologically advanced and has stepped into the first-class ranks. It is an independently developed, self-owned and domestically produced aero-engine with the advantages of self-controllable, low fuel consumption and long flight time and wide-area application environment.

On August 30, Aerospace Rainbow UAV Co., Ltd. said on the investor interaction platform that the main products of the Rainbow-4 drone company have been exported to many countries and regions, and the company will carry out various forms of cooperation according to the needs of users.
