The report shows that 26% of consumers are considering buying Apple Apple Car electric vehicles before they are released.

On the evening of September 2, Beijing time, it is reported that although Apple has not released the rumored Apple Car electric car, 26% of consumers are considering buying it, according to a new survey released by consulting service firm Strategic Vision.

If the shortage of semiconductors, the risk of recession and the transition to electric cars keep executives of traditional carmakers awake all night. Now they have a new reason for insomnia: consumers are keen to buy even before Apple Car.

Strategic Vision has just released the results of an annual study that surveyed 200000 consumers. This year's survey covers at least 45 car brands and includes Apple Car for the first time.

The results of the survey showed that 26% of people said they would "definitely consider" buying Apple Car. It ranks third behind Toyota (38 per cent) and Honda (32 per cent) and higher than Tesla (20 per cent).

26% represent the brand "impression" of Apple Car, while the "quality impression" of Apple Car is affirmed by 24% of the people, ranking first. Tesla's proportion is only 11%.

Obviously, this is a strong brand influence, indicating that in addition to mobile phones, computers, watches and TV set-top boxes, there is also a great interest in Apple cars.

As early as 2014, Apple began secretly developing Apple Car electric cars. It was reported in December 2020 that Apple is promoting self-driving car technology, with the goal of launching an electric car as early as 2024. There are also recent reports that Apple plans to launch a fully self-driving electric car around 2025.
