The rationality of the design scheme of the torch igniter and the pin injector gas generator is verified by the test, and the feasibility of the joint work of the torch igniter and the needle bolt injector gas generator is verified. it lays a foundation for the follow-up thermal test of the focus No.2 engine.

According to reports, the focus 2 liquid oxygen methane engine is planned to be matched with the Interstellar Glory SQX-3 liquid launch vehicle, which puts forward higher requirements for the matching engine in the aspects of multiple ignition, large-scale thrust regulation and lightweight structure. In order to meet the requirements of multiple ignition, the torch igniter is used in the thrust chamber and gas generator of focus No.2 engine.

In addition, in order to meet the requirements of large-scale thrust regulation, the focus No.2 engine gas generator adopts the scheme of pin injector, which can ensure that the combustion device can still maintain efficient combustion and better combustion stability in the process of large-scale change of working conditions.
