The update of "biochemical Raiders 1 beat 2 / Infinite" Steam added 2K starter, causing a lot of bad reviews among players.

CTOnews.com, September 6 (Xinhua)-- the classic first-person sci-fi shooter "biochemical Raiders" series ushered in a quality update on September 3, but only added a 2K starter, causing dissatisfaction among players.

The "biochemical Raiders" series includes "biochemical Raiders", "biochemical Raiders 2" and "biochemical Raiders: infinite". According to the official announcement, this update is as follows:

Add account link options in the game

Added a new initiator, including a store for buying new content

As can be seen from the update, "biochemical Raiders" as a single-player game, adding the account and 2K starter does not improve the game, but causes trouble to the players.

As a result, there has been a sharp increase in negative Steam reviews of the three games since September 3. Take the best evaluated "biochemical Raiders: infinite" as an example, the recent evaluation is "mixed praise", and the overall evaluation has also dropped from "rave" to "particularly high praise".

CTOnews.com learned that the 2K starter is not the first time players have complained. Last year, the "particularly acclaimed" UFO 2 was given mixed reviews due to the addition of a 2K starter. The limitation of 2K starter also causes some players to be unable to start the game.
