Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen South China Wu Yanzu for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com September 9 news, according to VideoCardz news, leaked Intel official PPT basic confirmation i5-13600 and below models are the core of the 12th generation Core Alder Lake.

As shown above, Intel PPT confirms that the 13th generation Core is only available on the i5K and later models with a larger L2 cache, meaning that the i5-13600, i5-13500, i5-13400, and i3-13100 will be the vest of the 12th generation Core.

CTOnews.com understands that the 12-generation core C-0 chip full blood specification is 8 large cores + 8 small cores, the current i5-13600 and i5-13500 may be the C-0 chip shielding two large cores, i5-13400 may be shielding two large cores + four small cores. In addition, the H-0 chip of the 12 th generation core is full of blood for 6 large core specifications, and now it seems to shield two large cores to make the i3-13100.

Given that the i5-13400 has only four more small cores than the i5-12400, Intel may discontinue the i5-12400 model to make way for the new model.
