CTOnews.com Sept. 11, Acer financial data show that Acer's monthly consolidated revenue of 20.241 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 4.574 billion yuan) in August 2022, an increase of 15.9% from the previous month, was down 25% from a year earlier, according to the Taiwan Economic Daily.

CTOnews.com learned that Acer's cumulative consolidated revenue in the first eight months of this year was NT $188.42 billion (about RMB 42.583 billion), down 7.9 per cent from a year earlier.

Acer said revenue performance highlights included a 146.2 per cent month-on-month increase in revenue from Vero environmentally friendly computers, 9.0 per cent year-on-year cumulative revenue from desktops in the first eight months and 4.4 per cent year-on-year revenue from commercial products in the first eight months.

Acer's consolidated revenue in the second quarter was NT $72.322 billion (about 16.345 billion yuan), down 7.7% from a month earlier and 9.3% from a year earlier, while net profit after tax was NT $1.724 billion (about 390 million yuan), down 23% from a month earlier and 40% from a year earlier.
