CTOnews.com, September 13 (Xinhua)-- Ikea has partnered with music group Swedish House Mafia to launch a record player that will go on sale on October 1 for $159.99 (about 1107.13 yuan), according to The Verge.
CTOnews.com learned that the record player belongs to the Ikea Obegr ä nsad series, which includes modern armchairs, desks, LED lights, record racks, laptop shelves and so on. Ikea first released the record player in June, and this is the second time Ikea has tried to make and sell record players.
According to reports, this record player has a built-in preamplifier, but no built-in speakers, and users must connect it to the speakers through the accompanying RCA cable. Ikea points out that the record player is powered by USB-C and can support Ikea's Eneby Bluetooth speakers through a wired connection. In addition, the record player is belt-driven, equipped with a replaceable AT3600L head and supports 33 RPM and 45 RPM speeds.
