CTOnews.com Sept. 18 message, Apple Apple Watch users who like to stream music using Spotify should not update their devices to the official version of watchOS 9, as this error Bug can cause streaming on the watch to stop working.

Spotify Music e-mailed its users to warn of the problem, which began shortly after the official watchOS 9 launch. Spotify says:

"Apple WatchOS 9 introduced an erroneous Bug, causing Spotify streaming on the Apple Watch to stop working. We urge Spotify Apple Watch users not to install WatchOS 9 updates until Apple fixes the problem. Users who have been affected can download their content to Apple Watch and then listen offline or stream it on their phones."

According to user reports, the streaming on Apple Watch stops working within the first minute, but the track progress bar continues to move, minus the audio. There are problems with both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity, but there is no problem downloading to Apple Watch's Spotify media.

CTOnews.com has learned that Apple has released watchOS 9.1 Beta to developers this week, and there are unconfirmed reports that it has solved the Spotify streaming problem. However, Apple did not mention the issue in its release notes, so we are not sure whether the bug Bug has been resolved until Apple releases its next Apple Watch update to the public.
