Semiconductor equipment giant Pan Lin Opens Engineering Center in Bangalore, India

September 19 news, according to foreign media reports, recently, semiconductor equipment giant Lam Research (Pan Lin) announced the official opening of its engineering center in Bangalore, India.

Pan-Lin says this is the company's most advanced facility in India to date. The new engineering center will focus on the development, design and testing of wafer fabrication hardware and software for the next generation of DRAM, NAND and logic technologies.

Lam Research is one of the leading suppliers of wafer manufacturing equipment and services to the world semiconductor industry, offering a variety of product portfolios for thin film deposition, plasma etching, photoresist degumming and wafer cleaning, which are complementary processing steps for the entire semiconductor manufacturing process.

In August, data released by CINNO Research, a market research firm, showed that in the first quarter of 2022, the semiconductor equipment business of listed companies globally ranked TOP10 with total revenue of $23.4 billion, up 4.4% from a year earlier and down 9.4% from a month earlier. Among them, the American company applied materials ranked first, the Japanese company Tokyo Electronics ranked second, and the American company Pan Lin ranked third.
