CTOnews.com Sept. 20 news, Zhaoyi Innovation today announced the release of the first GD32A503 series of specification-level microcontrollers based on the Cortex-M33 core, officially entering the MCU market.

According to the official introduction, the new MCU adopts advanced gauge-level process platform, follows the design concept and production standards, and meets the requirements of high reliability and stability for vehicles. With balanced processing performance, rich peripheral interfaces and enhanced safety levels, this series provides mainstream development options for a variety of electrified vehicle scenarios such as body control, vehicle lighting, intelligent cockpit, auxiliary driving and motor power supply. The GD32A503 product portfolio offers 4 packages with a total of 10 model options, which have been verified by previous users, and are now officially open to sample and development board applications.

GD32A503's new products adopt 40nm gauge-level process and high-speed embedded flash memory eFlash technology, and through DFM manufacturability design and high test vector coverage, achieve the coordination of R & D and manufacturing, in order to improve the yield and reliability, and meet the stringent automotive market needs.

CTOnews.com learned that the GD32A503 series MCU is based on the 100MHz Cortex ®- M33 kernel, equipped with 384KB Flash and 48KB SRAM, and has a dedicated code space that can be configured as 64KB DFlash / 4KB EEPROM. The chip is powered by a wide voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V, the operating temperature range is-40 ℃ and 125 ℃, and the working life is more than 15 years.
