CTOnews.com, September 21 (Xinhua) Sharp has announced that it will launch a new fall / winter AQUOS series at 10:00 on Monday, September 26, 2022, and is expected to bring new AQUOS smartphones.

CTOnews.com learned that Sharp's main development models include the flagship "AQUOS R", the standard "AQUOS sense" series, and the entry-level "AQUOS wish" series, of which the AQUOS sense series is often launched in the second half of each year.

Now, a protective shell vendor has leaked the rendering of the Sharp AQUOS sense7, which has the same design as the AQUOS R7 and uses a 1-inch sensor, but it has two holes and looks like a dual-lens camera.

Although the AQUOS R7 also comes with two cameras, it actually includes a depth sensor that is not used to take pictures, while the camera configuration of the AQUOS sense7 is currently unknown.

Sharp AQUOS R7, released in May, went on sale in July on Japanese operator Softbank Corp., with a Japanese version priced at 189360 yen (about 9259.7 yuan).

CTOnews.com learned that the Sharp AQUOS R7 uses a 6.6inch (WUXGA +) Pro IGZO OLED display, supports 1~240Hz 's variable refresh rate, peak brightness of 2000 nits, 1 billion colors, compatible with the Dolby horizon, and uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass on both the display and the back. In terms of configuration, the machine is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 12GB memory, 256GB storage space, 3.5mm headphone holes, microSD card expansion of 1TB and FeliCa functions.

On the camera side, the Sharp AQUOS R7 said it was equipped with a "newly developed 1-inch 47MP sensor" when it was released. According to smhn.info, the Japanese media that got the phone, the camera carries the same Sony IMX989 CMOS as Xiaomi's 12s Ultra.
