CTOnews.com learned that the Planning mentioned that the planning objectives of the "14th Five-Year Plan" stage (2021-2025) are as follows: 1 new hydrogen production station will be built, and more than 3 hydrogen production stations will be built accumulatively; More than 50 hydrogen refueling stations will be built accumulatively; Carry out the construction of 1 - 2 hydrogen production and hydrogenation joint construction stations and 1-2 hydrogen storage stations (or rely on hydrogen production stations, hydrogen production and hydrogenation joint construction stations and hydrogen storage stations). The hydrogen production capacity for fuel cells is 35,000 kg/day (13,000 tons/year), and the hydrogenation capacity is not less than 40,000 kg/day (15,000 tons/year), which can meet the hydrogen demand for more than 6000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

In addition, the planning objectives for 2026-2030 in the Plan are: more than 50 hydrogen refueling stations will be built, more than 100 hydrogen refueling stations will be built accumulatively, more than 5 hydrogen hydrogenation joint construction stations will be formed, and 3-4 hydrogen storage stations will be formed. The hydrogen production capacity of 100,000 kg/day (36,000 tons/year) fuel cell and the hydrogenation capacity of more than 100,000 kg/day (36,000 tons/year) can meet the commercial operation requirements of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
