CTOnews.com tests show that the feature is supported by the latest versions of Wechat iOS and Android, and the Wechat home page will retain the group chat entry after users choose "keep chat record" and quit the group chat.

After clicking to enter, you can view and find the chat history, but cannot send the message, and the input box changes to the "unable to send message in the exited group chat" warning.

The iOS version of Wechat ushered in an official update of 8.0.29, which fixed compatibility issues with Apple iOS 16 and iPhone 14 series.

Wechat Android, the latest official version of 8.0.28, fixed some known problems, but did not release specific updates.

However, Wechat's PC version is still unable to keep chat records when quitting the group chat, and the button still says "Delete and exit".
