CTOnews.com Tesla CEO Elon Musk's testimony in the Twitter case has been delayed until Oct. 6 - 7 to be questioned under oath by Twitter's lawyers as the social media company prepares for an Oct. 17 hearing in Musk's termination of a $44 billion acquisition, Reuters reported. Musk was scheduled to be questioned under oath this week.
CTOnews.com has learned that Musk and Twitter reached an acquisition agreement on April 26 this year, Musk will buy Twitter for $54.20 per share in cash, with a total transaction value of about $44 billion. But on July 9, Musk announced that he would terminate the deal because Twitter had seriously violated several terms of the agreement, including the issue of fake accounts. On July 13, Twitter filed a lawsuit against Musk.
