CTOnews.com, Sept. 29, today, Apple updated its investor relations page and announced that it will hold an earnings call on October 27 at 5:00 est / 2:00 Pacific time (6:00 Beijing time) to announce results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple is expected to provide information on the sales of new iPhone 14 models and new Apple Watch models during the earnings call.

Apple's iPhone 14 series went on sale on September 16, including the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. In addition, the iPhone 14 Plus will go on sale on October 7.

For comparison, Apple's total net revenue in the fourth quarter of 2021 was $83.36 billion, up 29% from a year earlier; net profit was $20.551 billion, up 62% from a year earlier; and revenue in Greater China was $14.563 billion, up 83% from a year earlier.

According to Jeffery, an investment bank, Chinese consumers bought less of the iPhone 14 at the beginning of its launch than when the new model was launched last year. Some analysts said Apple sold 987000 smartphones in the first three days of its launch, 11% lower than similar products in the iPhone 13 series in the same period last year.
