Through a Bluetooth connection, Watch GT 3-series users can view voice and text messages, voice and video reminders on Wechat without having to take out their phones, respond quickly using voice and text, and make quick payments with WeChat Pay, according to Huawei.

It should be noted that phones connected to HarmonyOS 2 and Android 9.0 or above support this feature, and Wechat App on mobile devices needs to be upgraded to version 8.0.24 or above; connecting to iOS phones does not support this feature.

According to Huawei's official equipment information, Wechat Watch Edition currently supports Huawei WATCH GT 3 Pro, Huawei WATCH GT 3 | Porsche Design, Huawei WATCH GT 3, Huawei WATCH GT Runner, Huawei WATCH GT 2022 collections.

CTOnews.com learned that users can use it by upgrading the firmware version of the watch by entering the Sports Health App-device-firmware update-upgrading to the latest version.

In addition, Huawei officials revealed that the Beta version of the WATCH 3 series Wechat watch version is under internal testing and will be upgraded one after another.
