TCL Huaxing: the first high-end professional production line in China has been put into production with an investment of 35 billion yuan.

CTOnews.com September 29 news, today, TCL Huaxing 8.6 generation oxide semiconductor new display device production line project (referred to as "TCL Huaxing Guangzhou T9 Project") was held in Huangpu District of Guangzhou City.

TCL Huaxing said that the Guangzhou T9 project, with an investment of 35 billion yuan and a monthly production capacity of 180000 glass substrates, is the first high-end LCD panel production line specializing in high-end IT products and professional displays. It adopts HFS and high mobility oxide technology independently developed by TCL Huaxing, which can achieve larger size, higher refresh rate and higher resolution display products.

CTOnews.com learned that the TCL Huaxing Guangzhou T9 project started construction in March last year. During the construction period, the main plant was capped in 9 months, the main equipment was moved in in 13 months, the product was lit up in 66 days, and the project was quickly completed and put into production.

According to reports, technically, the T9 project is the first production line in the world to introduce 4mask Oxide technology, and it is also the only high-generation panel production line in the world that is compatible with LCD, Micro LED and IJP OLED. In terms of products, the T9 project focuses on display products under different application scenarios, such as IT, vehicle, medical, industrial control and aviation, and can produce 6-inch to 100-inch full-size display products. In terms of efficiency, compared with the G8.5 generation production line, the cutting efficiency of the representative size of mobile phones and laptops in the T9 project has increased by an average of 9%, and the cutting efficiency of mainstream laptops has increased by an average of 10%.
